You don't know what you are talking about. I was raised in Oak Cliff. Two words, white flight. I Naively bought a house in Duncanville. Started a family. My kids were Hated For Eight Long Years For BEING WHITE. My poor son was BULLIED 3 days out of 5 every week. Then, when he was twelve, two black boys, members of the CRYPTS, BURN OUR HOUSE !! Now, thank God, we Do Not Live In Duncanville.

Another attractive bonus to move to Irving Texas they now have the successful knife making business Cold Steel now based in Irving, back in the 90s I could buy cold steel imported knives and tools in NZ, but thanks to civilian mass shootings by an idealistic nut job, cold steel retractable batons, special forces shovels, sjambok walking sticks, any knife over 6 inches and throwing stars were systematically banned, just like all imported Chinese Norinco semiautomatic centre fire rifles and pump action shotguns with 6 shot box magazines limits or 6 shot loading capacity barrel cylinder internal magazines, they all needed a police approved license and a medical psych evaluation to be allowed to buy and own a gun and ammunition. Owning a handgun was doable but more expensive and a lot like climbing Mt Everest with jumping through rings of bureaucratic red tape.

Born in Dallas (OakCliff) in 1961. Moved from Irving to a 8 acre piece of land unincorporated Denton County in 2000. I have not looked back since. However, Denton county has grown and I see it coming on the horizon. I am now retired and may look further north, but will never leave Texas.

I lived in Plano when I first moved to Dallas 5 years ago and loved it. The only con I had was the traffic but if you are looking for homes with mature trees and quiet neighborhoods, Plano is the best! I work in Plano so the convenience for work is definitely a plus.

Memorial high school in recent US news ranking ( based on test score ) is better than Allen high school which is one of the best in north DFW always and better than 2 good Prosper high schools in 2024 US News ranking. Future major students to be fed into memorial high school is the super rich Frisco Fields community residents. According to previous several Frisco high schools's US news ranking history, in 2 or 3 years, Memorial high should be improved from "very good" to "Excellence" soon! By the way, Niche and great school ranking is not based on test scores. From the rich South Lake community's Carrol high school case, memorial high school may become the best high school in Frisco and northern DFW suburbs soon ( I would say - no more than around 3-4 years!) * Some parents ( even they have not very smart kids ) are always complain about teachers & schools. * According to many complaints, niche's ranking sometimes can be political! I will more trust student's test score!

Kids schooling information missing

Great video! We are planning to move to McKinney in a month or two. We are moving for our business. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. I’ve never even been to Dallas 😅 I’m moving 100% on faith.

I served 12 years in the Navy and have been in the Army for the last 5. I deployed to Iraq in 2018. I’m a Blackhawk pilot and the wife and I want to move to the DFW area as I plan on transitioning to the airlines. We would prefer country living in the area but are open to other options. Love watching your videos Levi and thank you for your service.

Celina is a beautiful area just to far outside of the city for me. Its more like an hour with traffic if you're trying to drive to the city of Dallas.

I listed my home in Frisco, it is in range 900K, close to 3800 SQFT, 2020. It is in Estate at Rockhill, Frisco. let me know if any one is interested

What is there is no comps in my subdivision to go by? My insurance companies is saying other structures (a shed) which is worth $1,000 has it at $19,000 and it cannot be changed. When taxes go up so does insurance. I have to tell you after owning my home for 24 years, I am so tired of having to defend my forever home EVERY freakin year. 2023 Tax cut was AWESOME, now in 2024 mine doubled, value went up $118k. You have got to be kidding me.
